Saw this on www.cnn.com and thought of class on Wednesday when we watched the Donald Duck cartoon about Hitler.

I thought this article was interesting because as college students we can relate to issues of tuition. Harvard has decided to give a tuition break to families earning between 120,000 and 180, 000. The university will require that they only pay roughly 46,000 a year as opposed to their standard tuition. This article discusses how that has encouraged parents to look to other universities to do the same; however, many schools do not receive the 35 billion dollar endowment that Harvard does. Because of this lack of funding, other colleges and universities are unable to make the same kind of tuition cuts that Harvard does.

I felt though that, while they are giving those breaks to families earning between 120-180,000 a year, families earning lower than that might be in equal, if not more, need of that break.
